To Their Majesties Artan VI and Aziza, Their Highnesses Mordygan and Madigan, Conte Giovanni, Outlands Seneschal, the Outlands College of Heralds, the Outlands College of Scribes, and to all others who come by these letters, warm greetings from Lady Marie de Blois, White Stag Principal Herald.

Here is my monthly report to the Crown.

In my last report, I mentioned a request to the kingdom staff heralds to seek emergency and other deputies to train. Some heralds have found deputies and I have gotten a few heralds in touch with each other to discuss becoming deputies. For myself, I am in discussions with a new, permanent emergency deputy (aka Palmer Herald).

Also, in the December LoAR, Laurel announced that OSCAR, the online tool for submissions at the Society level, will become the primary method of distribution for Letters of Intent and Letters of Comment beginning with the May Letters. I am pleased to say that we are already using OSCAR consistently.

Known World Heralds and Scribes will be in Caid this June, and I am making plans to attend. I encourage any heralds and scribes to attend - there are many classes, and it is a fine opportunity to interact with our fellows from other kingdoms.

Finances remain in the hands of the Kingdom Exchequer. Castle sends itemized reports to the Exchequer each month on checks received, and Rampart requests payment to Laurel for submissions likewise itemized.

I have had some issues with reporting from certain groups, but am addressing those issues with the heralds involved and expect it to improve. Other heralds continue to provide complete, detailed reports, some indicating high activity. Kingdom staff and branch herald reports will be summarized in my quarterly reports.

serving Crown and heraldry,

Marie de Blois
