Report: Monthly to Kingdom

Greetings unto Artan and Aziza, King and Queen of the Outlands, Conte Giovanni, Outlands Seneschal, the Outlands College of Heralds, and to all others who come by these letters, from Lady Sorcha MacLeod, White Stag Principal Herald!

I hope that the holiday season brings each of you joy and good company, and finds you warm and in good health, however you observe the winterdark celebrations.

Items of note:

• I am seeking a successor, and the deadline for submitting an application is 31 December 2006. I have received one application at the time of this writing. I will be stepping down at Dragonsspine's Candlemas on 03 February.
• Vacancies in kingdom staff: Fretty Herald (CoA commenter), Trefoil Herald (CoA commenter).
• Rampart indicates a desire to find and train a successor.
• Note that only the new submissions forms are now accepted.
• December reports (due 10 January) are forgiven, to give everyone plenty of time to complete their Domesday reports (due on or before 15 January). Please include December/4th Quarter information in the Domesdays. Once your branch's final heraldic business of 2006 has passed, you may submit your Domesday report - give yourself a holiday gift and send it in early, so you can enjoy the quiet last week of the year secure in the knowledge that your year-end report is finished.

Current activities:

• Informational/Educational articles for Outlandish Herald by White Stag. Goal: Each month.
  Meeting goal, with exception for January 2006 issue as previously noted.
• Informational/Educational posts to Outlands-heralds list by White Stag or other senior herald. Goal: Each week minimum.
  Meeting goal, thanks to the efforts of my senior heralds.

Summary of Reports:

Reporting issues noted in last month's report have been resolved. Report summaries are now only included in my quarterly reports.

Administrivia:

Finances are in the hands of the Kingdom Exchequer. Castle reports to the Exchequer each month on checks received for which groups, submitters, and items, and Rampart requests payment to Laurel for submissions likewise itemized.
